Momentum Transportation to donate $1,000 for every TD scored by QB Blake Bortles this season9/21/2017 Jacksonville, Fla. – For every touchdown Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles scores this season, Momentum Transportation will donate $1,000 to the Blake Bortles Foundation to help children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), as well as support first responders.
“Since I joined the National Football League 4 years ago, I have tried to use my position to help others in our community and recognize our first responders for their selfless and brave service,” Bortles said. “A sincere and heartfelt thank you to Momentum Transportation for again teaming up with my Foundation to achieve this worthwhile goal. The financial support offered by Momentum will make a difference!”, Bortles added. Momentum Transportation teamed with the Blake Bortles Foundation last season, but company president and CEO Brian Putzke, wanted to increase his company’s involvement and potential donation in 2017. So away games were added to his previous agreement with BBF. For the 2017 season, all touchdowns scored by Blake Bortles through the air and on the ground, for home and away games will be included in Momentum’s generous donation. “Momentum Transportation is honored to support the Blake Bortles Foundation,” said Putzke. “The funds donated to this worthwhile cause support organizations that are near and dear to our heart. Momentum has a longstanding history of partnering with local community foundations, and we are excited to continue our partnership with Blake.” The Jacksonville Jaguars next game is Sunday in England against the Baltimore Ravens.
